Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK)

The application concerns the activities of the Polish Safer Internet Centre in fields of the safety usage of new media that was established in 2005 within the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme and is run by the Nobody’s Children Foundation (FDN) and the Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK) – Coordinator of the Centre.

Website dedicated to the International Conference “Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online” organised annually by the Polish Safer Internet Center (registration forms, conference agenda, abstracts and speaker biographical notes, conference videos).

Website devoted to the nationwide “Child Friendly Internet café” campaign that aims at drawing the Internet café owners’ attention to the safety of children that use their services.

Website devoted to the problem of peer violence on the Web, cyber violence prophylactics and promotion of the support offered by Helpline.org.pl. The website was launched in February 2009 during the pan-European campaign “Play on the Web – SAFELY”.

Website dedicated to the pan-European competition “Best Children’s Online Content”, where contestants will find contest rules and registration form.

Website of the social campaign “Internet is a window to the world, the whole world”, dedicated to the problem of children’s contact with dangerous content in the internet.
